Justine Lucas attained her BFA from San Francisco State University in Studio Art with a dual emphasis in Oil Painting and Sculpture, and a minor in World Music & Dance. After college, Justine toured the US & Canada with various bands and circus productions for 5 years, studying the art of performance, costuming, and stage production. Based in San Francisco, California, Justine Lucas is making high art and great film accessible for independent artists everywhere, applying tools and knowledge she gained from her travels and her well-rounded degree in the arts to every client project she embarks on.

In this 90 minute workshop you will learn the basics about lighting, framing, focus & movement. We'll go over the difficulties all artists & entrepreneurs face in the filming process: composing the shot, controlling the lighting, racking focus and creating depth, as well as types of shots and types of camera movement.
In this 90 minute workshop you will learn all the basics about the workings of your camera, what all the settings do and how to best use them. You will also learn about composition, working with natural and artificial light. We’ll go into specifics about what makes a great photograph and how to best capture your subject or moment.
